The Love Story of My Parents and My Life Journey

Life is full of unexpected stories. Some stories are happy, while others are painful and difficult. But every experience teaches us lessons that make us stronger. This is the story of my parents' love story and the journey of my life as their child.

My mother and father first met because of farming. My father visited my mother's house to talk about sharing profits in a farm. During that visit, he met my mother for the first time. At first, they were only strangers to each other.

As months passed, they became closer and closer. They would go to church together every Sunday and travel to different places together. My mother slowly realized that she was already falling in love with my father.

One Sunday, they went to church together again. During the mass, the priest said, "Let us offer each other the sign of peace." My mother greeted my father with those words, but my father misheard it as "I love you." Because of that misunderstanding, he replied, "I love you too."

That unexpected moment became the beginning of their love story. They laughed and admitted their feelings. Sometimes, love starts in funny and unexpected ways.

After a few years, they decided to live together, and eventually, I was born. I became the symbol of their love.

However, problems started when I was around three years old. Their separation became one of the hardest parts of my childhood. My mother and I moved from place to place while I continued my studies.

Living in Manila was a new experience. Even though life was difficult, my mother continued working hard to support us.

During high school, I became more interested in friends and realized later that I made mistakes.

Later, I transferred to Bulacan during Grade 10, but the pandemic happened and we did not have a normal graduation.

The pandemic became one of the hardest times for many families. Many people lost jobs and depended on assistance to survive.

After the pandemic, I returned to Isabela to continue senior high school and college because education is more affordable here.

My mother worked abroad to support my studies and give me a better future. Her sacrifices inspire me to study harder.

I learned the importance of sacrifice, hard work, and perseverance.

Now that I am in college, my biggest dream is to finish my studies and give my diploma to my mother.

Today, I continue fighting for my dreams and hope to make my mother proud.

Thank you for reading my autobiography.
